Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum is reportedly open to a move away from Anfield as he approaches the final few months of his contract.

Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum could reportedly be tempted by a move away from Anfield amid speculation over his future.

The former Newcastle United man has less than 12 months left to run on his existing deal with the Premier League champions and has seen his future called into question on several occasions this year.

Liverpool have supposedly tabled a new three-year deal with a salary of £105k per week for Wijnaldum to remain at Anfield, but according to Calciomercato, the 30-year-old has his eye on a new challenge elsewhere.

Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman has publicly admitted his desire to bring Wijnaldum to Camp Nou, with the pair having worked together with the Netherlands national team before Koeman left for Catalonia.

In addition, a recent report suggested that Inter Milan are ready to go head-to-head with Barca for Wijnaldum's signature, and the Italian giants are allegedly preparing a bid for 2021.

Wijnaldum has already made 12 appearances for Jurgen Klopp's side in all competitions this season, playing the full 90 minutes in seven of Liverpool's eight Premier League matches.
