Vincent Kompany says that he is fully over the calf problem that has kept him out of action for the last two months.

Manchester City centre-back Vincent Kompany has confirmed that he has made a recovery from a calf injury that has kept him out of action for the last two months.

The centre-back has been tipped to make his return to action during Belgium's World Cup qualifier against Macedonia tomorrow night.

"I feel great. I've put in some hard work over the last eight weeks and I'm very happy to be back in the team," he told Sky Sports News. "It's been frustrating but it is something that you have to deal with. I've been through things a lot worse than this."

Kompany has not played since City's 2-0 win over Stoke City back in January.
