Manchester City midfielder James Milner has claimed that the fixture against Newcastle United on Sunday could be more difficult than Monday's victory over Manchester United.
Roberto Mancini's men climbed to the top of the table on Monday after a 1-0 win over their rivals but Milner admits that he is concerned by Sunday's trip to the Sports Direct Arena.
Milner said: "The game against United was massive and a big result for us — but we can't get carried away.
"We've got two games left and it will be just as difficult, maybe even harder, going away to St James' at the weekend.
"That's obviously the next thing on our minds. If we can get a good result there then it's in our hands."
Mancini's team have won their previous four matches in the Premier League.
