Following the Fabregas path? Arteta 'green lights' Arsenal move for Barca 'gem'
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has reportedly given his seal of approval for the Gunners to make a move for 18-year-old Barcelona sensation Arnau Pradas.
Another talented product to come out of the La Masia ranks, Pradas is yet to make his senior debut for Barcelona, but the 2006-born attacker has been making a serious impression at youth level.
Primarily a left winger but also comfortable on the right flank, Pradas has scored twice in two UEFA Youth League games in the 2024-25 season, netting against Monaco and BSC Young Boys.
A seven-cap Spain Under-16 international, Pradas has also been called up to his country's Under-17 and Under-19 ranks, but Barcelona risk losing him for nothing when his contract expires in 2025.
What now? Pogba's future almost decided as 'agreement' imminent
Juventus and Paul Pogba have reportedly come to a decision on the Frenchman's future after his doping ban was reduced from four years to 18 months.
The former Manchester United man has spent over a year out of the game after testing positive for non-endogenous testosterone after the first matchweek of the 2023-24 Serie A campaign.
A second 'B' sample also showed abnormal levels of the hormone, and Pogba was slapped with a four-year ban by Italy's National Anti-Doping Tribunal, which would have rendered him ineligible to play again until 2027.
However, Pogba succeeded with an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, and it was reported late last week that the midfielder's suspension had been cut to just 18 months, most of which he has already served.
How could Carvajal's injury affect Alexander-Arnold?
Real Madrid are reportedly prepared to step up their interest to sign Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold after Dani Carvajal sustained a serious injury.
Carvajal was part of the Real Madrid side that recorded a 2-0 win in Saturday's meeting with Villarreal at the Santiago Bernabeu.
However, the Spain international was unable to complete the contest after suffering a serious knee injury in stoppage time.
Real Madrid have since confirmed that Carvajal has "a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament, a ruptured external collateral ligament and a ruptured popliteus tendon in his right leg."
Major setback: Man United, Spurs 'suffer blow' in Dibling pursuit
Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly suffered a significant setback to their hopes of signing Southampton youngster Tyler Dibling.
The 18-year-old has been one of the standout players in Southampton's difficult start to the 2024-25 Premier League season.
Dibling featured as a substitute in the first three matches of the season, before he forced his way into the lineup for the home meeting with Manchester United.
The teenager showcased his nimble footwork to win a penalty against the Red Devils, only to see Cameron Archer miss the subsequent spot kick in the 3-0 defeat.
Ronaldo 'makes transfer plea' for Al-Nassr to sign Man City star
Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly urged Al-Nassr to make a lucrative offer to sign Manchester City playmaker Kevin De Bruyne.
Ronaldo has been an Al-Nassr player since January 2023 after he opted to move to the Saudi Pro League following his Manchester United exit.
The Portugal international has seen a number of high-profile players leave top European leagues to complete the switch to Al-Nassr.
Sadio Mane, Marcelo Brozovic, Mohamed Simakan and Aymeric Laporte are among those who have joined Ronaldo at the Saudi Arabian club.
Angel Delight: Could Gomes return to Man United next year?
Angel Gomes has admitted that he would 'find it difficult to say no' to a return to Manchester United amid claims that the Red Devils are interested in re-signing him.
The 24-year-old came through the youth system at Man United, representing the club between 2006 and 2020, but he was restricted to just 10 appearances at first-team level.
Gomes left for Lille in 2020, and he has developed into an important player for the French outfit, scoring nine goals and registering 19 assists in 123 appearances for the club in all competitions.
The attacker was brought into the England squad last month, and he made two appearances for the national team against Republic of Ireland and Finland, playing the full 90 minutes against the latter.
An unlikely reunion? Sunderland 'interested in signing' former star
Sunderland are allegedly open to the possibility of signing Jordan Henderson during the January transfer window.
As many as 13 years have passed since Henderson left the Stadium of Light to sign for Liverpool having initially come through the academy system.
Henderson made a total of 79 appearances for the Black Cats before going on to become a legend at Anfield, famously lifting the Premier League trophy in 2020.
However, despite going on to feature on 492 occasions for the Merseyside giants, Henderson's career has taken a downward turn of late having made the decision to move to the Saudi Pro League in 2023.
Next Odegaard: Man United 'eyeing wonderkid' who could cost £84m
Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Rosenborg wonderkid Sverre Nypan.
The 17-year-old has already made 54 first-team appearances for Rosenborg, scoring 11 goals and registering 10 assists, while he has been in strong form for his Norwegian club this season.
Nypan has six goals and nine assists in 27 outings this term, and it is believed that his development has attracted the attention of a number of the leading clubs in European football.
According to Goal, Man United have been tracking Nypan since 2022, and the Red Devils are now considering making a formal move for the youngster during the January transfer window.
