Ajax are reportedly set to receive huge bonus payments from Manchester United for Lisandro Martinez.
The defender recently signed for United following a battle between the Red Devils and Arsenal for his signature.
United paid Ajax a fee in the region of £55m, but the cost of the transfer could still rise throughout the Argentine's career at Old Trafford.
According to the Daily Mail, the Premier League side are obligated to pay Ajax £56,000 for every appearance that he makes up to a maximum of 30 matches per season.
The bonus payments could cost United £1.6m a season for a player that is contracted until 2027 with an option for an additional year.
Man United reportedly agreed to the bonus structure in a bid to beat Arsenal to Martinez's signature, with the 24-year-old set to earn £120,000 a week at Old Trafford.
Martinez has joined Tyrell Malacia and Christian Eriksen as Erik ten Hag's summer recruits.
