Agent Mino Raiola has quashed suggestions that PSV Eindhoven winger Hirving Lozano could be on his way to Chelsea this month.
Lozano has attracted interest from a number of clubs around the continent, including AC Milan and Napoli, after hitting 11 goals in the Eredivisie this season on the back of his impressive World Cup showings.
Italian outlet Calciomercato reported on Thursday evening that the Blues were readying a £36m bid for the Mexico international, which they hoped would be enough to get a deal over the line.
Raiola has revealed that the 23-year-old will not be leaving the Philips Stadion before the end of the January window, however, despite the growing interest in his signature.
"Lozano will stay at PSV until the end of the season," Raiola said. "The club don't want to sell him now."
Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Barcelona have also previously been tipped to make a move for Lozano, who still has four-and-a-half years to run on his PSV contract.
