Jak Alnwick ruled out for rest of season with wrist injury

Newcastle United goalkeeper and Bradford City loanee Jak Alnwick confirms that he will miss the remainder of the season after suffering a wrist injury in training.

Newcastle United goalkeeper Jak Alnwick has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after suffering a wrist injury in training.

The 21-year-old joined Bradford City on loan a fortnight ago, but has returned to his parent club after confirming that he requires surgery.

His only Bantams appearance came in the 1-1 draw away at Notts County.

Alnwick has made eight appearances for the Magpies this season.
