Newcastle boss Alan Pardew fears that he may lose key players in the January transfer window.

Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has admitted that key players could be on their way out of the club in January.

Cheik Tiote, Yohan Cabaye and Fabricio Coloccini have all been linked with moves away from the Sports Direct Arena.

"You're talking about Newcastle United – nothing is certain here," said Pardew.

"We could lose one of our great players, who knows? Some of the financial decisions are taken out of my hands. I want to strengthen in one or two areas but we'll have to be on our guard against one of our best players going when the window opens. You can never think you're okay."

The Magpies have remained fourth in the Premier League table after Saturday's 1-1 draw at Manchester United.
