Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew is considering a move for Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner, according to a report.
The 26-year-old's contract with the Gunners expires at the end of June and several clubs are said to be targeting the Denmark international.
Pardew is weighing up a move for Bendtner to replace the void left by Loic Remy, who left the Magpies after a successful loan spell, reports the Daily Star.
Bendtner spent the 2011-12 season on loan at Newcastle's local rivals Sunderland and scored against them in their 1-1 draw at St James' Park.
