Nottingham Forest midfielders Ben Osborn, Matty Cash sign new deals

Nottingham Forest midfielders Ben Osborn and Matty Cash put pen to paper on new long-term deals at the City Ground on the eve of the 2016-17 season.

Nottingham Forest midfielders Ben Osborn and Matty Cash have signed new contracts at the City Ground.

A graduate of the Reds academy, Osborn has made 86 first-team appearances for Forest and will remain with the club until 2020.

The 22-year-old made his debut in March 2014 and notably scored a last-minute winner against Derby County in the 2015-16 season.

Cash, meanwhile, has been a regular in Philippe Montanier's side throughout pre-season, playing alongside Henri Lansbury in the centre of the pitch, and has penned a three-year deal.

The teenager could be in contention to make Forest's starting XI against Burton Albion on Saturday, with Chris Cohen battling to recover from a groin injury.
