Paris Saint-Germain have revealed that they are unsure as to how long they will be without captain Thiago Silva.
The Brazilian was forced off inside the opening 16 minutes of the Ligue 1 champions' 1-1 draw with Monaco on Sunday and was replaced by Zoumana Camara.
PSG have issued a statement claiming that they are yet to understand how long Silva will be missing for, while coach Laurent Blanc is fearing the worst.
A statement on PSG's official website read: "An MRI scan on Thiago Silva has confirmed a muscle injury to his left hamstring.
"The duration of his unavailability will be specified later, depending on the evolution of the injury."
Blanc added: "It's obviously a muscular problem so I think we have lost him for a little while."
PSG travel to Valenciennes on Wednesday.
