Team News: Adel Taarabt, Matty Phillips start for managerless Queens Park Rangers

Adel Taarabt, Armand Traore and Matty Phillips are all included in the Queens Park Rangers team to face Southampton.

Queens Park Rangers caretaker manager Chris Ramsey has handed starts to Adel Taarabt and Matty Phillips in their Premier League game at home to Southampton this afternoon.

Ramsey has made four alterations in his first game in charge since Harry Redknapp's resignation on Tuesday, as club captain Clint Hill and Armand Traore are also included in the starting XI.

For Southampton, youngster Matt Targett has replaced the suspended Ryan Bertrand at left-back, while Victor Wanyama has returned to the team following a spell on the sidelines.

Morgan Schneiderlin, who has similarly been out with an injury, is only deemed fit enough for the bench, but Sadio Mane takes the place of Dusan Tadic in support of Graziano Pelle.

QPR: Green; Onuoha, Dunne, Caulker, Hill; Phillips, Barton, Fer, Traore; Austin, Taarabt
Subs: McCarthy, Isla, Kranjcar, Henry, Vargas, Zamora, Zarate

Southampton: Forster; Clyne, Fonte, Yoshida, Targett; Wanyama, S. Davis; Ward-Prowse, Elia, Mane; Pelle
