AC Milan will reportedly attempt to sign Asier Illarramendi on loan from Real Madrid in the January transfer window.
The Spaniard arrived at the Bernabeu from Real Sociedad last summer, but has thus far struggled to secure a spot in Los Blancos' first XI.
According to La Domencia Sportiva, Milan want to sign the midfielder until the end of the season and are confident that a deal will be completed.
It is said that the Italian champions are also interested in signing Isco on loan, but the Spaniard's recent resurgence in form has made that deal unlikely.
