Saturday's Major League Soccer predictions including New York Red Bulls vs. Orlando City

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Major League Soccer fixtures, including New York Red Bulls vs. Orlando City.

The New York Red Bulls aim to keep their 100% home record intact on Saturday when they host Orlando City at Red Bull Arena on matchday four of the 2025 MLS campaign for both teams.

Last weekend, the Red Bulls came away with a 0-0 draw at Atlanta United, while the Lions were beaten 2-1 on the road versus New York City FC.

We say: New York Red Bulls 2-0 Orlando City

The Red Bulls have not been the most exhilarating side to watch, but they have been airtight at the back and should be able to expose a Lions defence that are lacking structure and poise under pressure at the moment.

Toronto vs. Chicago Fire (Saturday, 6.30pm)

Seeking their first victory of the 2025 Major League Soccer campaign, Toronto welcome the Chicago Fire to BMO Field for their home opener on Saturday.

The Reds conceded twice in the final 45 minutes last week, losing 2-0 to FC Cincinnati, while the Fire came from behind to defeat Dallas 3-1.

We say: Toronto 3-2 Chicago Fire

These are the two worst defensive units in the Eastern Conference, with Toronto allowing eight goals thus far and the Fire just one fewer.

Look for there to be plenty of chances on both sides Saturday, with the home crowd's energy helping the Reds claim their first victory of the season.

Los Angeles vs. Austin (Saturday, 7.45pm)

Aiming to claim their third win in four MLS matches, Los Angeles FC will welcome Austin FC to the BMO Stadium on Saturday.

The hosts enter this contest off the back of two straight losses in all competitions, while the visitors will be searching for a win after back-to-back defeats in the league.

We say: Los Angeles FC 2-1 Austin FC

Although Los Angeles FC have suffered two losses in all competitions, the hosts will head into this fixture in confident mood, having posted two wins in the MLS across three fixtures.

More so, they have the individual quality that can propel them to a win against the visiting Austin FC, who are yet to find their footing this season.

Therefore, we reckon that Los Angeles FC will claim a narrow 2-1 win in this fixture.

Charlotte FC vs. Cincinnati (Saturday, 11.30pm)

Off the back of a narrow loss to Inter Miami in their last league outing, Charlotte FC will host FC Cincinnati in their latest MLS fixture at the Bank of America Stadium on Saturday evening.

Fresh from elimination in the CONCACAF Champions Cup, Cincinnati FC will be aiming to claim their first competitive win away to Charlotte FC, and their maiden victory of the new season.

We say: Charlotte FC 1-1 FC Cincinnati

Charlotte FC have had mixed results to start the season, and they have given good account of themselves in their opening three games.

Similarly, Cincinnati have been one of the shining lights of the new season with two wins from three matches.

Therefore, we expect a keenly-contested fixture that is likely to end in a 1-1 draw.

DC United vs. Montreal (Saturday, 11.30pm)

Still seeking their first points of the 2025 Major League Soccer campaign, CF Montreal travel to Audi Field on Saturday to battle DC United.

On matchday three last weekend, the Black and Red came back to claim a 2-1 win over Sporting Kansas City, while Le CFM were beaten 2-0 by the Vancouver Whitecaps.

We say: DC United 1-2 CF Montreal

Even an inexperienced side like Montreal should be able to find a way through a DC backline that leave far too many gaps, and we believe that will cost them this weekend.

NY City vs. New England (Saturday, 11.30pm)

Another chapter in the heated Boston-New York sports rivalry will be ignited this weekend as the New England Revolution seek their first victory of the 2025 Major League Soccer campaign when they face New York City FC at Yankee Stadium on Saturday.

Last weekend, the Pigeons won their first match of the campaign, 2-1 against Orlando City, while New England were beaten 2-0 by the Philadelphia Union.

We say: New York City FC 2-0 New England Revolution

Carles Gil is among the best playmakers in the league, but without a consistent, quality attacker, his contributions will not help the Revs, who face an elite goalkeeper in Matt Freese this weekend and and a proven goalscorer in Martinez.

Kansas vs. Minnesota Utd (Sunday, 12.15am)

Sporting Kansas City will be looking to snap their run of five defeats from their opening five games when they play host to Minnesota United at Children's Mercy Park on Sunday morning.

This will be the second meeting between the two sides within the space of five weeks, with the Loons claiming an emphatic 6-0 victory when they squared off in a pre-season tie in California.

We say: Sporting Kansas City 1-1 Minnesota United

It has been an underwhelming start to the campaign for Sporting Kansas City and they will head into the weekend looking to stop the rot. While Minnesota appear to have hit their stride, we predict Vermes's men will make the most of their home advantage and hold out for a share of the spoils.

Dallas vs. Vancouver (Sunday, 12.30am)

The Vancouver Whitecaps will put their 100% MLS record on the line Saturday when they travel to Toyota Stadium for a date with Dallas.

Last Saturday, the Toros suffered their first defeat of the campaign, 3-1 to the Chicago Fire, while the Caps climbed to the top of the Western Conference table with a 2-0 triumph over CF Montreal.

We say: Dallas 3-1 Vancouver Whitecaps

Without Gauld, the Caps will have difficulty providing quality service to White in the attacking third, while we believe Acosta is due for a big game, and he tends to have them against Vancouver.

Houston vs. Salt Lake (Sunday, 12.30am)

Houston Dynamo will be looking to secure their first win of the 2025 MLS campaign when they go head to head with Real Salt Lake on Sunday morning.

The Claret and Cobalt have failed to win any of their last 10 visits to the Shell Energy Stadium since August 2018 and will be looking to end this poor seven-year run.

We say: Houston Dynamo 2-1 Real Salt Lake

While Houston Dynamo have stumbled into the new campaign, their home record in this fixture will give them plenty of optimism heading into the weekend. Real Salt Lake have struggled for consistency and we fancy Olsen's men to come away with the desired result at the Shell Energy Stadium.

St Louis City vs. Seattle (Sunday, 12.30am)

Still licking their wounds from their CONCACAF Champions Cup exit, Seattle Sounders journey to CityPark to go head to head with St Louis City on Sunday morning.

Having lost each of the previous four meetings between the two sides, the Missouri outfit will head into the weekend looking to get one over the visitors and secure consecutive wins for the first time this season.

We say: St Louis City 1-0 Seattle Sounders

Reeling from their Champions Cup heartbreak, Seattle Sounders will head into Sunday's looking to bounce back and put together a strong run of form in the league. However, St Louis have proven tough to crack this season and we are backing them to come away with the desired result in front of their home supporters.

San Diego vs. Columbus Crew (Sunday, 2.30am)

San Diego will play host to Columbus Crew on Saturday night at the Snapdragon Stadium, with both teams looking to build on their strong starts to the new MLS season.

The hosts sit second in the Western Conference standings, while the visitors are third in the Eastern Conference table.

We say: San Diego 2-2 Columbus Crew

San Diego have surprised many with their performance in their first-ever season in the top division in the United States.

The home side have not only posted good results, they are playing confidently and scoring goals, having recorded five in three fixtures.

Similarly, the visitors also have a healthy scoring record, having plundered five goals in three matches.

With not a lot to separate these, we back both sides to play out a 2-2 draw.

Earthquakes vs. Colorado (Sunday, 2.30am)

Two sides separated by one point and four places in the MLS Western Conference standings will clash when the Colorado Rapids travel to take on San Jose Earthquakes at the PayPal Park on Saturday night.

Coming off the back of a 1-0 loss to Minnesota United, the hosts will be seeking an instant return to winning ways, while Colorado will put their unbeaten record on the line in their search for a second win of the season.

We say: San Jose Earthquakes 1-0 Colorado Rapids

San Jose have enjoyed a good start to the season with a couple of commanding victories and goals to boot, and given their quality, the visitors face a daunting task this weekend.

Although Colorado have been resolute in their first three outings of the season, the hosts are likely to edge this contest 1-0.
