Southampton have reportedly set their sights on a summer move for Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Keiren Westwood.
The Republic of Ireland international, who has a year left on his Owls contract, is out for the season after aggravating a groin injury.
According to The Sun, the Saints are seeking to offload Fraser Forster at the end of the campaign in favour of a new custodian who can vie with Alex McCarthy for the number one jersey.
The report claims that Westwood fits the bill for Mark Hughes, whose side sit 18th in the Premier League table, five points adrift of safety.
The 33-year-old keeper is also believed to be on the radar of Championship side Leeds United and Scottish Premiership giants Celtic and Rangers.
