Nabil Bentaleb confident of strong finish for Tottenham Hotspur

Nabil Bentaleb is confident that Tottenham will enjoy a strong finish to the Premier League season.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Nabil Bentaleb has backed the team to enjoy a strong finish to the season.

Seventh-placed Spurs have failed to win their last two matches in the Premier League, leaving them six points adrift of the top four.

They were also denied a rare piece of silverware at the weekend as they were beaten 2-0 by Chelsea in the League Cup final.

However, ahead of tonight's game at home to Swansea City, Bentaleb believes that Tottenham can mount a late surge up the table.

"I feel very confident about the challenges to come," he told the club's official website. "We just have to keep believing and hopefully we'll be able to get the results we need and want.

"[Swansea] have good individuals and they can be very dangerous to any team, but we have to stay focused, remain strong, play our football and hopefully everything will go right for us."

Bentaleb has scored one goal in 23 appearances for Spurs this season.
