Everton manager Frank Lampard has insisted there were no positives to take following their 5-0 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.

Everton manager Frank Lampard has reflected on the midweek defeat.

The Toffees were handed a heavy 5-0 loss against Tottenham Hotspur tonight, with an own goal from Michael Keane being followed up by a brace from Harry Kane as Son Heung-min and Sergio Reguilon also got on the scoresheet.

This marks the third Premier League defeat in a row for the squad, who currently sit 17th place in the Premier League table, just one point above the relegation zone.

"The important thing as I lead it, is that the positivity stays. Not stupid positivity, there is nothing positive about tonight really. Other than probably Anthony Gordon, and a couple of performances of credit, in terms of people that did not give up," Lampard told Sky Sports News.

"That should be the bare minimum, and I demand that. It gives me a lot of food for thought going forward."

Everton will be back in action on Sunday as they host Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League.
