Manchester City draw up a four-man shortlist as they prepare to bring a new centre-forward to the club, according to a report.

Manchester City have reportedly drawn up a four-man shortlist as they prepare to bring a new centre-forward to the club during this summer's transfer window.

The Citizens will be in the market for a replacement for the club's all-time leading goalscorer Sergio Aguero, who will officially depart at the end of June following the expiration of his deal.

According to The Times, head coach Pep Guardiola will be backed with funds in the upcoming market, and the Premier League champions have put together a four-man striker shortlist.

The report claims that Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland, Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane and Inter Milan's Lautaro Martinez have all been identified as potential acquisitions.

Meanwhile, it is alleged that Eintracht Frankfurt's Andre Silva, who has scored 25 Bundesliga goals this season, is being considered by the Manchester club.

Both Haaland and Kane are said to be valued by their respective clubs in the region of £150m, making Martinez and Silva potentially more affordable options in the upcoming market.
