Team News: Mihai Pintilii back for Steaua Bucuresti

Mihai Pintilii is back from injury to start for Steaua Bucuresti against Basel, who will have Serey Die making his Champions League debut tonight.

Mihai Pintilii has been recalled to the Steaua Bucuresti starting lineup for their Champions League clash against Basel this evening.

The 28-year-old missed the Romanian giants' last European clash against Chelsea because of an injury and slots into defensive midfield, replacing Lucian Filip in the process.

Steaua coach Laurentiu Reghecampf has continued to prefer Federico Piovaccari to Pantelis Kapetanos in attack, the Italian striker having scored in seven of his last 10 competitive appearances.

Meanwhile, midfielder Serey Die will make his debut for Basel in the Champions League tonight, with Taulant Xhaka dropping out of the starting lineup.

Steaua Bucuresti: Tatarusanu; Szukala, Gardos, Latovlevici, Georgievski; Pintilii, Tanase, Stanciu, Bourceanu; Popa, Piovaccari
Subs: Nita, Filip, Varela, Chipciu, Prepelita, Tatu, Kapetanos

Basel: Sommer; Ivanov, Voser, Schar, Safari; Die, Stocker, Frei, Diaz; Salah, Streller
