Team News: Xherdan Shaqiri, Marko Arnautovic return for Stoke City

Stoke City's Xherdan Shaqiri and Marko Arnautovic return to the squad to face Bournemouth this afternoon.

Stoke City's Xherdan Shaqiri and Marko Arnautovic return from a hamstring injury and suspension respectively to face Bournemouth this afternoon.

The Potters are without the services of Glenn Whelan after the midfielder suffered a hamstring injury on international duty during the Republic of Ireland's game against Austria.

Ramadan Sobhi and Jonathan Walters drop to the bench, while Bojan Krkic is handed a start as Mark Hughes looks to extend their unbeaten streak to seven games.

As for the visitors, Eddie Howe gives Nathan Ake and Adam Federici their first league starts of the season as Artur Boruc and Jordon Ibe are not fit to participate.

Elsewhere, defender Adam Smith serves a one-match ban after accruing five yellow cards, while Callum Wilson has passed a late fitness test to start.
