Midfielder Roque Mesa has insisted that he is fully focused on establishing himself in the first team at Swansea City.
In July, Swansea paid Las Palmas a fee of £11m for Mesa's signature, but the Spaniard has only made three appearances in the Premier League since arriving at the Liberty Stadium.
Mesa has been linked with a return to Las Palmas, his hometown club, but the player has said that he intends to remain in South Wales.
The 28-year-old told Canarias Radio: "I understand the fans would like to see me return but my spell with Las Palmas is over and now I am a fan of the club.
"My sole focus is with Swansea, I have no intention of leaving on loan because my aim is to be a success with this club and keep working hard. Am I concerned by lack of playing time? It's not the first time I have not been able to play consistently through my career but I know how this works and I must wait for my chance.
"I respect the Coach and my teammates who are being selected, you cannot act unprofessionally and you must continue trying to find positive solutions."
Mesa has only made one appearance in all competitions since September 30, which came in the EFL Cup against Manchester United on October 24.
