Striker Tammy Abraham reiterates that his long-term goal is to prove himself at Chelsea after earning a call-up to the England squad.

Striker Tammy Abraham has acknowledged that it will not easy to earn a place in Chelsea's first-team squad, despite impressing at Swansea City.

Abraham has scored five times in 14 appearances for the Premier League side since joining on a season-long loan from the Blues, while the forward has just been called up to the England squad for the games with Germany and Brazil.

The youngster is hoping that he can eventually find a way into the team at Stamford Bridge, although accepts that he has work to do in order to challenge the likes of Alvaro Morata and Michy Batshuayi.

The 20-year-old is quoted by Sky Sports News as saying: "My main focus is Swansea but pushing on, my main target is to be in that Chelsea squad.

"It's not going to be easy, you look at the players that are there, but you have to keep pushing and keep working as hard as you can. I want to show the world what I'm truly made of."

Abraham has only played twice for Chelsea, with both substitute outings coming at the end of the 2015-16 campaign.
