Laurent Blanc refuses to criticise tactics despite draw against Toulouse

Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc suggests that his tactics were not to blame as his side were held 1-1 by Toulouse in Ligue 1.

Paris Saint-Germain boss Laurent Blanc has refused to criticise his tactics after a lacklustre performance saw them draw 1-1 with Toulouse this afternoon.

Despite missing key players in the shape of Ezequiel Lavezzi, Thiago Silva and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the Parisians were still able to field a side featuring Edinson Cavani and David Luiz as they were held at the Municipal Toulouse.

"I do not analyse the game through the system, but by comparing the PSG team to that of Toulouse," Blanc told reporters after the game, according to Sportal.

"Toulouse started the match better than us and we had problems. We gave them the opener. We did recover in the game. Even though the match is difficult, the boys gave their all, but we are not satisfied with not winning.

"We realise that when we are not in the best of form football becomes difficult, but we have a good team with great players."

The draw sees PSG sitting in third place in the Ligue 1 table.
