Saturday's Premier League predictions including Manchester City vs. Fulham

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Premier League fixtures, including Manchester City vs. Fulham.

Crystal Palace vs. Liverpool (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Fresh from a record-breaking evening in the Champions League, Liverpool return to Premier League action on Saturday afternoon, squaring up to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in the lunchtime kickoff.

The Reds survived a few scares to defeat Bologna 2-0 in midweek, while the flightless Eagles became Everton's first victims of the Premier League season last time out.

We say: Crystal Palace 0-2 Liverpool

While Palace can often rock up to Anfield and spring a surprise, the Eagles seldom outwit Liverpool on their own patch, and 38 goals conceded at home to the Reds is their most against a single opponent in the Premier League.

That figure should hit 40 on Saturday, as even if Slot's men show a touch of fatigue, the Dutchman is blessed with several competent options for change and will likely be celebrating going four points clear at the full-time whistle.

Arsenal vs. Southampton (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Undefeated hosts meet winless visitors in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon, as Arsenal and Southampton cross paths at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners return to top-flight action on the back of a 2-0 Champions League victory over Paris Saint-Germain, one day after the Saints were swept aside 3-1 by South Coast rivals Bournemouth.

We say: Arsenal 4-0 Southampton

Gooners who witnessed the end of Arsene Wenger's reign can tell you that possession often counts for nothing in the Premier League, as Southampton are finding out the hard way, and the toothless Saints surely do not have a prayer of threatening a rigid Arsenal defence.

Martin's men may keep the hosts at bay for a short while, but Arteta's rampant crop will no doubt break through eventually, and the goals could flow thereafter.

Brentford vs. Wolves (Saturday, 3.00pm)

First-minute specialists Brentford could achieve another unprecedented Premier League feat when they host Wolverhampton Wanderers in Saturday afternoon's contest at the Gtech Community Stadium.

The Bees had to accept a 1-1 draw with West Ham United in last weekend's London derby, while the efforts of Gary O'Neil's winless men were in vain during a 2-1 loss to Liverpool.

We say: Brentford 2-2 Wolverhampton Wanderers

Wolves' early-season results do not paint the full picture for O'Neil's side, who have faced several big-hitters early on, and the goal-happy visitors are not short of attacking options ready to capitalise on Brentford's home defensive woes.

Keeping the ball out of their own goal remains a serious issue for the visitors, but as Brentford have a habit of letting leads slip, we can envisage Wolves biting back to earn a point, albeit one that extends their painful wait for all three.

Leicester vs. Bournemouth (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Still searching for their first Premier League win of the season, Leicester City welcome Bournemouth to the King Power Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The two teams last butted heads in February when the Foxes secured a 1-0 away victory after extra time in the FA Cup fifth round, courtesy of a goal from Abdul Fatawu.

We say: Leicester City 1-2 Bournemouth

Both teams will view this fixture as a good opportunity to pick up maximum points and head into the international break on a high. Cooper is desperate to claim his first league win as Leicester boss, but he may have to wait a little while longer as we are backing the Cherries to prevail against a defensively-frail Foxes outfit at the King Power.

Man City vs. Fulham (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Seeking to avoid going three consecutive Premier League games without a victory, champions Manchester City welcome Fulham to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The two teams meet for the first time in nearly five months when the Citizens cruised to a 4-0 victory at Craven Cottage towards the end of last season.

We say: Manchester City 3-1 Fulham

Following a bright start to the campaign, Fulham cannot be taken lightly and Man City expert Steven McInerney from Esteemed Kompany has admitted that he is 'concerned' by how the threatening pace of the Cottagers' attackers could expose the hosts in transition.

Man City have conceded in each of their last five league games and their defence could be breached once again by an in-form Fulham outfit, but we are still backing Guardiola's men to outscore their opponents and extend their impressive winning streak against Silva's side.

West Ham vs. Ipswich (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Ipswich Town will be looking to capitalise on West Ham United's misfortunes when they travel to the London Stadium for a Premier League clash on Saturday afternoon.

The two teams meet for the first time since January 2012 when the Tractor Boys cruised to a 5-1 home victory over the Hammers in the Championship.

We say: West Ham United 1-2 Ipswich Town

The pieces are not falling into place for Lopetegui at West Ham, while in contrast, Ipswich have made themselves difficult to beat in recent weeks and seem to be finding their feet under McKenna as a top-flight club.

A closely-fought contest could be in store at the London Stadium, but we are predicting a shock on the cards in this one and for Ipswich to win their first Premier League game of the season.

Everton vs. Newcastle (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Everton will look to build upon a first Premier League win of the season when they welcome Newcastle United to Goodison Park on Saturday.

While it has been a start to forget for the Toffees, Newcastle have made their best in the top flight for over a decade.

We say: Everton 1-2 Newcastle United

Both teams have been playing good football, especially in the final third, but only one side has the points to show for it so far, and that is Newcastle.

The possible absence of Branthwaite will be huge, as Everton have proven incapable of defending without him in the team so far this season, so the visitors will be favourites despite potentially being without top scorer Isak.
