Fabien Camus cancelled out Younes Belhanda's early opener to rescue a point for Troyes in their Ligue 1 encounter with Montpellier HSC this evening.
Rene Girard's side edged their noses in front on 19 minutes when Remy Cabella found Belhanda, who fired in to the bottom corner from outside the box.
The hosts drew level four minute before half-time. Tunisian midfielder Camus gave his marker the slip and found the bottom left corner for 1-1.
Montpellier almost took a lead into the break. Belhanda stuck a free kick from the edge of the box towards the top corner, but Troyes' shot-stopper Yohann Thuram-Ulien was equal to it.
The visitors were the better side in a scrappy second half, creating goalscoring opportunities for Gaetan Charbonnier, Garry Bocaly and Souleymane Camara.
Troyes could have snatched it late on when Thiago Xavier tested Mathieu Dreyer, but neither side was able to break the stalemate.
