West Bromwich Albion coach Steve Clarke believes that Ian Holloway was "brave" to leave his post as manager at Crystal Palace.
The 50-year-old left his post last week following a poor start to the campaign, which has left them in the relegation spots in the Premier League table.
"He obviously felt something wasn't right and chose to get out," London 24 quotes Clarke as saying. "It is a brave decision to make, because he is obviously putting himself out of work, but you have to respect Ian's decision."
Palace are yet to appoint a permanent successor, but the club have been linked with former Stoke City boss Tony Pulis and current Wales manager Chris Coleman.
