Oxford United boss Michael Appleton is confident that Kemar Roofe can make an impact at the Kassam Stadium after he joined the club on a one-month loan deal from West Bromwich Albion.
Roofe, who can play in a number of positions in attack, made three substitute appearances at Colchester United earlier this season, but Appleton has hinted that the 22-year-old will earn regular action with the League Two outfit.
The 39-year-old told the club's official website: "Kemar is someone who has been on a lot of club's radar for a while because he likes to get on the ball and make things happen up front.
"I worked with him during my time at West Brom and he has a great attitude as well as being a really good player."
Roofe joins Oxford with the club in 17th position in the league table.
