West Ham United's new manager Slaven Bilic is reportedly interested in bringing fellow Croatian Vedran Corluka to the Premier League club this summer.
The Hammers were believed to be keen on a deal for out-of-favour Manchester City defender Micah Richards, who spent last season on loan at Fiorentina, but the England international is set to join Aston Villa over the coming week.
However, The Mirror claims that former Tottenham Hotspur defender Corluka, currently plying his trade at Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow, is very much on West Ham's radar.
It is thought that Bilic is keen to recruit his fellow countryman, who was part of a Croatian national side which lost only eight games over a six-year period while the 46-year-old was in charge.
The Hammers are also reported to be considering another loan move for Arsenal's Carl Jenkinson, although it is said that the Gunners are demanding a £2m loan fee.
