Fulham beat Wolves 2-0 at Craven Cottage last season.

Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves feels Fulham's position in the Premier League table is not an accurate reflection of their quality.

Both teams were promoted last season but Wolves have fared the better so far this campaign and head to Craven Cottage on Boxing Day 10th in the table, with Fulham bottom.

The two meetings last season in the Championship produced two 2-0 home wins and Neves insists Wolves will not be taking their opponents lightly.

"It is the same for us. We don't think about the table, we think about the game," the Portuguese told the club's official website.

"We think about what we have to do and Fulham, we know already, is a very good team and it is a tough stadium to play, and we have to focus on that.

"We have to think about our game, the way we're going to play there, and try to get the win."

Wolves have been in good form recently, winning three of their last four Premier League matches with the only defeat coming against leaders Liverpool.

"That's what we want every time, we want to play well and win games. I think we are in a good way, but we have a long way to go so let's focus on the next game," said Neves.

"It was a tough game (against Liverpool). I think we gave everything but they are one of the best teams and are doing unbelievable in the league.

"I think we gave a very good game, unfortunately we lost, but we have to look forwards."

Wolves are likely to be without Diogo Jota for the match on Boxing Day as he continues to battle a hamstring injury.

Wanderers boss Nuno Espirito Santo confirmed the forward remains a doubt having missed Friday's loss to Liverpool.
