Warrington Wolves forward James Laithwaite sidelined for up to six weeks

Warrington Wolves forward James Laithwaite is ruled out of action for up to six weeks with a broken foot.

Warrington Wolves forward James Laithwaite has been sidelined for up to six weeks with a broken foot.

The 22-year-old suffered the problem during his side's 24-6 win over Leeds Rhinos in the Super League last month.

"Poor old James has been playing exceptionally well and really coming on but he's out for approximately six weeks," Wolves coach Tony Smith is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

Warrington return to action on Sunday when they travel to Bradford Bulls in the Challenge Cup quarter-finals.
