World number three Andy Murray has said that he will not be underestimating Gilles Simon ahead of their Australian Open fourth-round meeting.
The pair do battle for a place in the quarter-finals in the last match on Hisense Arena tomorrow, with the Frenchman seemingly suffering from fatigue following his five-set victory over Gael Monfils.
Murray has not lost to the 14th seed since the Rome Masters in 2007, winning all nine matches since with the loss of just one set.
Despite his overwhelming record over Simon, the Scot still believes that he is capable of springing a surprise.
"He's caused guys lots of problems before," said Murray. "He pushed Roger to a very tough five-set match here [in 2011].
"He's getting closer to the top 10 in the world. He had his own injury problems as well."
The last match between the two ended with Murray winning 6-3 6-4 at the Miami Masters in March.
