Barcelona forward Neymar has revealed how happy he is with his first league goal for the club.

The Brazilian scored the opener in Barca's 4-1 win over Real Sociedad this evening.

Neymar assisted Lionel Messi for the second goal and also spoke about their blossoming partnership.

"I'm very happy with my first goal in the Liga," Neymar told reporters.

"It may not have been a nice goal but the main thing is it went in. The win was more important though.

"Messi and I understand each other better every day. He's a genius."

The win was Barca's sixth in a row this season. They can break their club record by winning the seventh, against Almeria on Saturday.
