Report: Barcelona target Anthony Martial

A report claims that Barcelona want to sign 19-year-old Monaco forward Anthony Martial.

Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing Monaco forward Anthony Martial.

It is understood that the Catalan outfit are in the market for another forward-thinking player this summer after selling Pedro to Chelsea.

Martial is one of Monaco's prized assets, but the Ligue 1 outfit's failure to qualify for the group stages of the Champions League this season has left them in a precarious position when it comes to transfers.

According to Cadena Ser, Barcelona have had a long-standing interest in the 19-year-old and will launch an offer in the final week of the transfer window.

Martial, who joined Monaco from Lyon in 2013, netted 11 times in 42 games last season.
