Andres Iniesta is reportedly close to signing a new long-term contract with Barcelona.
Speculation has been growing that the 29-year-old could look to depart Camp Nou after becoming frustrated with contract negotiations at the Catalan outfit.
The Spanish midfielder's current deal expires in 2015, but according to Sport, only minor details need to be decided before a new contract until 2018 is agreed.
Iniesta, who is widely regarded as one of the best midfielders of all time, has been linked with a move to Manchester United in recent months.
