Experienced defender Gregory Vignal leaves Dundee United by mutual agreement.

Experienced defender Gregory Vignal has departed Dundee United by mutual agreement, the club has announced.

The 31-year-old joined he Scottish Premier League outfit in the summer, but has not played a single match for Peter Houston's side.

A statement on the club's official website read: "The club today confirmed that Gregory Vignal has left Tannadice by mutual agreement, for family reasons."

Vignal has previously played for Liverpool and Rangers.
