Besiktas boss Senol Gunes has revealed that Everton loanee Dele Alli has failed to return from a short break.
During a seven-year spell with Tottenham Hotspur, Alli scored 67 goals and provided 61 assists across 269 appearances.
After falling out of favour at Spurs, Alli joined Everton in January last year, but he was unable to make a meaningful impact for the Toffees.
In the second half of the 2022-23 campaign, the 26-year-old failed to register a single goal or an assist in 13 games.
As a result of his poor form, the Merseyside club allowed Alli to join Besiktas on a season-long loan deal last summer.

Since joining the Turkish giants, Alli has scored three goals in 15 competitive appearances, but he has failed to make a positive impression.
Alli has been left out of the squad for Bestikas' last three games and is set to watch the remainder of the campaign from the stands.
Besiktas have already decided that they will not take up the £6.9m option to make his loan deal permanent.
Alli, who was pictured with Kim Kardashian last week, has been allowed to spend some time away from the club, but he has failed to return to Istanbul as planned.
In a recent interview, Gunes stated that he has been unable to contact the former England international and is unsure of his whereabouts.

Gunes said: "We gave Dele Alli permission for a small break, he hasn't come back yet. It's raining, that's probably why he didn't come. We're trying to find out where he is."
According to the Liverpool Echo, Alli has since issued a response to Gunes's comments via his representatives, who claim that the player was given permission to travel to London for a doctor's appointment.
Alli is under contract with the Toffees until June 2024, and he will return to the Merseyside club at the end of the season.
However, a recent report claimed that he does not feature in Sean Dyche's plans, and his Everton contract could be terminated as a result.
