Report: Franck Ribery a doubt for World Cup

France midfielder Franck Ribery could reportedly miss this summer's World Cup with a back injury.

Franck Ribery has reportedly sustained a back injury which could prevent him from participating in this summer's World Cup with France.

Didier Deschamps has until tomorrow evening to submit his final 23-man squad to FIFA, with the Brazil tournament getting underway in 11 days.

According to French newspaper L'Equipe, the Bayern Munich midfielder has been suffering from the injury for several weeks and could be ruled out of the competition.

France face Paraguay in a friendly match later this evening in preparation for the tournament.
