Scottish Premiership roundup: Inverness CT win at Hibernian

Inverness Caledonian Thistle beat Hibernian at Easter Road, while Hearts come from behind to defeat Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership.

Terry Butcher was at Easter Road to watch his new team Hibernian beaten by Inverness Caledonian Thistle, who continued their strong start to the Scottish Premiership season.

Simon Ross opened the scoring from the penalty spot after Graeme Shinnie was fouled by James Collins and Billy McKay's goal on 18 minutes was enough for the Highland club to secure the points.

Barry Robson's sending-off sparked a second-half comeback for bottom side Hearts away to Aberdeen.

Goals from Jamie Walker, Callum Paterson and a stoppage-time finish from Ryan Stevenson snatched the points for the Jambos after Niall McGinn gave the Dons a first-half lead.

Two goals from Steven Thompson helped St Mirren to a 3-0 win away to Partick Thistle, who had Stephen O'Donnell sent off 15 minutes into the game.

Dundee United beat Motherwell 4-0 at Fir Park thanks to goals from John Rankin, Andrew Robertson and a brace from Ryan Gauld.

St Johnstone produced the only home win in the division, comfortably beating nine-man Kilmarnock 3-1 aided by a brace from Stevie May.
