Report: Leicester City holding out for £10m Leonardo Ulloa fee

Leicester City striker Leonardo Ulloa will be on his way out of the King Power Stadium should his eight-figure valuation be met, a report claims.

Leicester City are willing to sell striker Leonardo Ulloa to Sunderland in January if their valuation of the player is met.

The Black Cats have been heavily linked with the 30-year-old, who has failed to start a game since helping his side to the most unlikely of Premier League title triumphs last season.

Having seen his first-team opportunities limited this term, Ulloa is understood to be open to the prospect of moving on in the New Year, although Leicester face the prospect of losing Islam Slimani to Africa Cup of Nations duty early in 2017 which could delay a sale.

According to The Telegraph, City are holding out for at least £10m for the Argentine striker - £2m more than they paid Brighton & Hove Albion to sign him in July 2014.

It is claimed that Swansea City are also interested in Ulloa, but Leicester are more concerned with loaning out £7.5m Poland international Bartosz Kapustka so that he can gain some valuable playing time in English football.
