Liverpool's Mohamed Salah could break yet another Premier League record when the Reds face Everton in the final Goodison Park Merseyside derby on Wednesday evening.
The 32-year-old is set to be restored to the Reds' XI after missing Sunday's shock 1-0 FA Cup loss to Plymouth Argyle, where Federico Chiesa flattered to deceive on the right wing.
The Italian will now make way for his senior, who still leads the way at the top of the Premier League's scoring and assisting charts, amassing a terrific 21 strikes and 13 helpers in the current campaign.
Salah's brace in Liverpool's 2-0 win over Bournemouth two weekends ago took the former Chelsea man up to 178 goals in the Premier League, usurping Frank Lampard into sixth place in the all-time rankings, and he needs just seven more to overtake Sergio Aguero.
The Egypt international's double at the Vitality Stadium also continued his extraordinary sequence of away contributions, as he has now had a direct hand in 21 goals in Premier League away games this season, 13 of his own and eight assists.

Should Salah either score or set up a teammate in the Merseyside derby, the Liverpool man would set a new outright record for the most Premier League goal contributions away from home in a single campaign.
Salah's current total of 21 is tied with Manchester United legend Andy Cole, who came up with 12 goals and nine assists on the road for Newcastle United during the 1993-94 Premier League season.
However, Salah has failed to score in each of his last two visits to Goodison Park, prior to which he hit a brace in a 4-1 win in the 2021-22 season and also netted in the 2-2 stalemate in the previous campaign.
The 32-year-old and Liverpool will be visiting Everton's iconic home for the final time on Wednesday evening, as the Toffees prepare to relocate to their new Bramley-Moore Dock Stadium from the 2025-26 season onwards.
Goodison Park was the location of Kenny Dalglish's final game as Liverpool boss during his first spell in charge - a 4-4 FA Cup thriller in 1991 - but Arne Slot could also now emulate the legendary Scotsman in Wednesday's derby.

Should the Dutchman mastermind a victory for Liverpool on Wednesday evening, he would become just the second Reds manager to win their first league Merseyside derby when the contest has been played away from home.
Dalglish is the only Liverpool men's head coach to achieve that feat previously, overseeing a 3-2 triumph in 1985, and a derby win would not only be momentous for individuals in midweek.
Indeed, Liverpool have now beaten Everton 99 times in all competitions, and taking all three points home from Goodison would mark just the fifth time in the history of the English Football League that a team has beaten a particular opponent on 100 occasions.
The Reds have already managed that milestone against Aston Villa (103 wins), while Arsenal against Everton (111 for the Gunners), Manchester United against Aston Villa (106 for the Red Devils) and Arsenal against Manchester City (100 for the Gunners) are the only other occasions where that century has been hit.
Liverpool will move nine points clear of Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table by beating David Moyes's side, and Slot also delivered a double injury update in Tuesday's pre-game press conference.
