Team News: Sergio Aguero starts for Manchester City

Manchester City top scorer Sergio Aguero makes his side's starting XI against West Ham United after recovering from a groin injury.

Manchester City top scorer Sergio Aguero makes his side's starting XI after recovering from a groin injury, as Manuel Pellegrini's team aim to secure the point against West Ham United that will give them the Premier League title.

The Argentinian, who scored the winning goal at the death as City won the title two years ago against Queens Park Rangers, replaces James Milner, who makes the bench.

Midfielder Fernandinho, who was previously a doubt to take part in today's clash at the Etihad Stadium, also has to be content with a place among the substitutes for the current league leaders.

Should the Citizens lose against the Hammers, then Liverpool can still win the league, providing they defeat Newcastle United at Anfield.

Meanwhile, West Ham have no new injury worries ahead of the final game of the season.

Marco Borriello is the only absentee with a long-term calf problem.

Manchester City: Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Demichelis, Kolarov, Garcia, Toure, Nasri, Silva, Aguero, Dzeko
Subs: Pantillimon, Lescott, Clichy, Milner, Fernandinho, Negredo, Jovetic

West Ham United: Adrian, Reid, McCartney, Nolan, Tomkins, Carroll, Taylor, Noble, O'Brien, Diame, Downing
Subs: Jarvis, Armero, Vaz Te, Collins, Jaaskelainen, C.Cole, J.Cole
