Paris Saint-Germain reportedly remain Philippe Coutinho's only hope of leaving Barcelona as Manchester United are no longer in the running to sign the Brazilian.

Manchester United have ended their interest in Barcelona ace Philippe Coutinho, according to a report.

The Red Devils were rumoured to be in the running to bring the Brazilian back to the Premier League, 18 months after he left Liverpool for a dream move to Camp Nou.

Coutinho's time in Catalonia has not gone to plan and Barca are believed to be open to a sale, but Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo claims that United will not be signing the 27-year-old.

Former club Liverpool have also ruled themselves out of the running, likely leaving only Paris Saint-Germain as a possible escape route.

Coutinho is rumoured to be valued at £120m by Barcelona, who need to balance their books after splashing out on Antoine Griezmann earlier this month.
