Steve Lomas calls on Millwall to build

Millwall boss Steve Lomas calls on his players to build on last weekend's 1-1 draw at Reading when they host leaders Burnley in the Championship on Saturday.

Millwall boss Steve Lomas has called on his players to build on last weekend's draw at Reading when they host leaders Burnley in the Championship on Saturday.

The Lions are currently in 17th place in the table following the 1-1 draw at the Madejski Stadium.

Lomas now wants his side to extend their unbeaten run to three matches when in-form Burnley make the trip to The Den.

"I've said to the lads when they play like that and go and pass the ball they are a decent footballing team," he told the club's official website.

"We want to back up our point at Reading this week. It is a good point now but a great point if we then go into a very tough game against Burnley, who are riding high.

"It's great that we are playing at home because we have won two and drawn one of our last three games at The Den. It won't be easy but we will be going out to try and get three points."

Burnley head into the game three points clear at the top of the Championship table.
