How Paris Saint-Germain could line up against Nimes

Sports Mole looks at how Paris Saint-Germain could line up in Saturday's Ligue 1 clash with Nimes.

Paris Saint-Germain will be looking to continue their charge towards the Ligue 1 title when they welcome surprise package Nimes to the French capital on Saturday afternoon.

PSG sit 15 points clear of second-placed Lille with a game in hand and have won their last three in the league since suffering a 2-1 defeat away to Lyon earlier this month.

Thomas Tuchel's side thumped Montpellier 5-1 last weekend, while they have won all 13 of their home Ligue 1 matches this season - scoring 47 and conceding just five - which is an indication of the task facing Nimes.

Here, Sports Mole takes a look at how the French champions could line up on home soil.

POSS PSG XI vs. NIM

Out: Neymar (foot), Edinson Cavani (hip)
Doubtful: Thomas Meunier (concussion)

PSG are still without the services of Neymar and Edinson Cavani, with a foot injury keeping the former on the sidelines, while the latter is still finding it difficult to overcome a hip problem.

Kylian Mbappe has been holding the fort, though, with the 20-year-old now on 25 goals for the campaign, while he has also contributed 14 assists in 30 games in all competitions.

Belgian defender Thomas Meunier could return following a concussion, while the likes of Eric Choupo-Moting and Colin Dagba will be eyeing spots in the starting XI, which has become increasingly difficult to predict for PSG in recent weeks.

Mbappe and Angel Di Maria are expected to start as the front two once again, but there should be a spot in a wide area for 19-year-old attacker Moussa Diaby.
