Salvatore Sirigu pleased with Paris Saint-Germain's display against Marseille

Salvatore Sirigu says that he was pleased with Paris Saint-Germain's performance in their 2-0 home win against Marseille in Ligue 1 on Sunday.

Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu has said that he was pleased with his side's performance against Marseille on Sunday.

An own goal from Nicolas N'Koulou and a Zlatan Ibrahimovic strike saw PSG register a 2-0 win at Parc des Princes in their Ligue 1 encounter.

"It was a good game, very spectacular and a lot of fun for the fans," Sirigu told reporters after the match.

"It is a very special match and we prepared well. Both teams threw everything into the battle and played with heart.

"After our loss to Sochaux last weekend, we wanted to bounce back immediately."

PSG are currently three points clear at the top of Ligue 1.
