David Zurutuza: 'No problem with David Moyes'

Real Sociedad midfielder David Zurutuza plays down talk that he has a strained relationship with head coach David Moyes.

Real Sociedad midfielder David Zurutuza has insisted that there is no problem between him and head coach David Moyes.

Comments made by Zurutuza in the summer were interpreted to be criticism of the Scot's style of management, but the Spaniard has said that any potential conflict has been overcome.

The 29-year-old has also claimed that his team "deserve" to have collected more points in the new La Liga season after a tough start.

"I've talked to him after seeing what was reported, and spoke clearly with him. The matter is settled. I was speaking in general, not pointing at anyone," AS quotes Zurutuza as saying.

"We have to keep working, doing things right and the results will come. We have to continue to improve, because if we create chances, we'll score goals. We have to improve in front of goal.

"We're aware that six points isn't what we wanted and it's not what we deserve. There'll be times we win when we didn't deserve to, and hopefully that happens soon."

Moyes is believed to be under pressure at Sociedad after leading the team to just one win in their opening seven games of the new La Liga season. That run of form has left the Basque side in 16th position.
