Brazilian full-back Danilo has revealed that he would like to play alongside Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus at Juventus.
The 29-year-old joined City from Real Madrid in July 2017, six months after Jesus moved from Palmeiras to the Etihad Stadium, where the pair spent two years playing together under Pep Guardiola.
Both Danilo and Jesus are currently away with Brazil preparing for the Copa America final against Argentina on Sunday, but the full-back has taken time to express in an interview with Gazetta dello Sport that he would like to see his compatriot join him in Turin.
"Of course, Gabriel is good and very intelligent. He could grow more in Italy because in Serie A, they close down well and it's harder to score. If I could, I would bring him to Juventus," Danilo said.
Jesus is one player who could be forced to leave City this summer if the club need to generate funds for the potential signing of Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane, who has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League champions.
The 24-year-old, who has two years remaining on his current contract, has made 195 appearances for City across all competitions, scoring 82 goals and providing 34 assists.
