Mbaye Niang: "I'm going to Genoa"

AC Milan forward Mbaye Niang says that he is joining Genoa on loan.

AC Milan forward Mbaye Niang has revealed that he is joining Genoa on loan.

The 20-year-old has been with Milan since 2012, but has scored just one goal in 38 appearances for the Italian side.

A number of Premier League clubs had been linked with a move, but the French-born striker has claimed that he is heading to Genoa.

"I'm going to Genoa. It was the best solution for me and for everyone," he told Sky Sport Italia.

Niang spent last season on loan in France with Montpellier, netting five times in 22 appearances for the Ligue 1 side.
