Arsenal team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Wolves

Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Tuesday's Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Arsenal will be eyeing a return to winning ways when they travel to an out-of-form Wolverhampton Wanderers side in the Premier League on Tuesday evening.

The Gunners and Manchester United both had opportunities to take all three points home in their closely-fought encounter on Saturday evening, but there were no goals to be had in the capital as Arsenal kept yet another clean sheet in a 0-0 draw.

Mikel Arteta's side have now gone their last seven games unbeaten in the top flight, although Wolves did manage to claim a 2-1 win at the Emirates Stadium when the sides met back in November.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest.

Bukayo Saka

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Hip
Possible return date: February 2 (vs. Wolves)

The omission of Bukayo Saka against Man United had Arsenal fans fearing another long-term injury to a vital player, but the youngster was simply left out as a precaution due to a sore hip. Arteta has poured doubt over his participation this week, but he has been pictured in full training so has a chance of being involved.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Other
Possible return date: Unknown

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been absent for the Gunners' last three matches in order to look after his unwell mother. Arteta has revealed that the club are working with the government regarding the striker's return to action after quarantine, and it remains to be seen if he will be cleared to play this week, although he has returned to training.

Dani Ceballos

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: February 2 (vs. Wolves)

Dani Ceballos has been struggling with calf problems for the past couple of weeks, and he was not in the squad to face United. However, the Spaniard has made a return to full training, so he has an outside chance of returning here.

Pablo Mari

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: February 2 (vs. Wolves)

Ceballos's compatriot Pablo Mari has been nursing an injury in the same area, but the centre-back has also returned to training this week. Mari will be assessed ahead of Wednesday's game.

Kieran Tierney

Status: Out
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: February 6 (vs. Aston Villa)

Kieran Tierney was pictured training alongside Ceballos and new arrival Martin Odegaard before the United fixture, but he failed a late fitness test prior to the game. The left-back will not be fit in time to face Wolves either.

Mat Ryan

Arsenal revealed on Monday that new arrival Mat Ryan has been struggling with a hip problem, and the second-choice goalkeeper will not be available against Wolves.
