Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger insists that he is committed to the Gunners and will not leave to coach Schalke.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has rejected speculation that he is poised to leave the Emirates Stadium to take over at Schalke.

The Frenchman had questions raised over his future earlier in the season but the 63-year-old maintains that he is dedicated to the Gunners.

"No, I have a contract here and I will respect my commitment to this club, always," Wenger said in a press conference.

"The Bundesliga has a very interesting championship but the Premier League I think is a better one."

Arsenal are currently sixth in the Premier League table.
